Classic Hammer Horror is clawing its way back onto shelves, and it’s bringing two heavy hitters with it.
Terence Fisher’s "The Mummy" and "Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell", the final entry in Hammer’s legendary Frankenstein run, are being resurrected once again. Both films star horror mainstay Peter Cushing, whose legacy stretches from gothic terror to galaxies far, far away.
Now, Second Sight Films is bringing these classics back to life with Standard Edition Blu-ray releases, loaded with special features and set to arrive on May 25, 2026.
FROM THE PRESS RELEASE:

The Mummy sees Peter Cushing deliver a haunting performance as an Egyptologist who discovers an ancient tomb and inadvertently unleashes the vengeful mummy of an Egyptian priest, played by horror legend Christopher Lee.
In 1890s Egypt, a team of British archaeologists, John Banning (Cushing), his father Stephen Banning (Felix Aylmer), and Uncle Joseph Whemple (Raymond Huntley), discover the untouched tomb of Princess Ananka (Yvonne Furneaux). Inside, John discovers the Scroll of Life and, when he reads it aloud, unknowingly brings the mummified body of the high priest Kharis (Lee) back to life.
Three years later, the group has returned to England, unaware of the nefarious consequences of their actions. A follower of the same Egyptian religion unleashes the Mummy to exact grisly revenge on those who desecrated the sacred past. As the creature draws closer, can anything stop its relentless and vengeful mission?

Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell sees Peter Cushing joined by Patrick Troughton, who plays a bodysnatcher ahead of his turn as the second Doctor in "Doctor Who", along with a host of acclaimed British talent, including Dave Prowse as Frankenstein’s creation. Notably, Prowse is the only actor to portray the creature twice for Hammer, in two very different forms.
When a young doctor, Simon Helder (Shane Briant), is committed to an insane asylum where the legendary Baron Frankenstein was believed to have died while experimenting on stolen corpses, he is quickly taken under the wing of the mysterious Doctor Victor (Cushing).
However, Simon soon realizes there is more to Doctor Victor than meets the eye, and that Frankenstein is not only alive but continuing his macabre experiments.
This grisly, gothic Hammer production serves as a thought-provoking and stylish conclusion to the Frankenstein series, featuring another standout performance from Cushing and delivering plenty of bloodshed along with some truly chilling moments.
You’re guaranteed to be wrapped in horror with these classic releases. The Mummy Standard Edition Blu ray and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell are available to pre order now from Second Sight Films.
