We all know that love can make people do some pretty outlandish and sometimes deadly things. Jealousy, betrayal, obsession, and revenge have fueled countless real-world crimes and some of the most memorable thrillers ever committed to film. The new psychological thriller "TWISTED LOVE" taps into those darker impulses and adds a supernatural twist that leaves a trail of bodies in its wake. So, of course, we would be bringing you your first look at this killer new flick.
Breaking Glass Pictures has announced the U.S. release of "Twisted Love", which is now available to stream on Amazon Prime, with additional digital platforms expected to follow in the coming weeks.
Directed by and starring Akasha Williams, whose previous work includes "Queen of the Trap", the film explores what happens when heartbreak transforms into something far more dangerous. Blending psychological thriller elements with supernatural horror and noir inspired drama, "Twisted Love" takes a familiar tale of romantic betrayal and pushes it into increasingly sinister territory.

The story centers on Summer, a woman who believes she has finally found the love she's been searching for in Niko (Deondric Davis). Her world quickly collapses when she discovers that Niko is already engaged. Unable to let go and desperate to reclaim what she believes should be hers, Summer turns to black magic in an attempt to win him back.
As the curse takes hold, the situation spirals into a nightmare. Bodies begin appearing under mysterious circumstances, each connected in some way to Summer and Niko. The mounting death toll draws the attention of Detective Fuller(Akasha Williams), whose investigation becomes complicated when he develops feelings for Summer himself. Meanwhile, Niko finds himself sinking deeper into panic, guilt, and increasingly reckless decisions as the consequences of the curse begin to consume everyone around him.
Williams described the film by recalling a piece of advice that perfectly captures the story's central theme.
"Sometimes you get what you want, but don't want what you get."
That sentiment appears to sit at the heart of Twisted Love, a story that examines the destructive power of obsession and the lengths some people will go to avoid losing the object of their affection.

Breaking Glass Pictures CEO Rich Wolff praised the film's willingness to push its themes to unsettling extremes.
"Twisted Love is a bold, visceral thriller that takes obsession and romance to their most dangerous extremes."
Stories about doomed relationships are nothing new, but Twisted Love appears determined to remind audiences that some broken hearts can leave more than emotional scars behind. When desire turns toxic and black magic enters the equation, the results can be deadly.
Twisted Love is currently streaming on Amazon Prime, with additional digital platforms expected to carry the film soon.
