SDCC 2026: NECA Reveals Must-Have Exclusive Figures

Written by: Sam Santiago

Convention season is creeping back up, and yeah, we’re already locked in for 2026. WonderCon set the tone this year with killer cosplay and packed panels, but all eyes are now shifting toward San Diego Comic-Con, which is gearing up to take things to another level from July 23 through July 26.

And right out of the gate, NECA is swinging hard with a batch of exclusives that are going to disappear fast. Pre-orders went live yesterday at 9:00 AM PST, and if you’re even thinking about grabbing one of these, you better already be logged in and ready to go.

Let’s get into what’s on the chopping block.

First up, the one that instantly grabbed us by the throat. The Ben Cooper Costume Kids Glow-in-the-Dark Mummy. This thing feels like it crawled straight out of a plastic mask nightmare from the 70s. It’s a 6-inch fully poseable figure built to replicate those old-school licensed Halloween costumes, complete with soft goods and that unmistakable cheap-mask charm. The kicker is everything glows. The mask, the costume, even the pumpkin bucket. It’s packaged in a retro-style window box that lights up too. Pure shelf candy with a haunted edge.

Then there’s the DC throwback. The Batman 8-inch clothed figure leans hard into that vintage toy aesthetic. Fabric suit, classic black and grey look, and a full loadout of gadgets. Batarangs, grapnel launcher, cuffs, knuckles. It’s less about realism and more about that old-school comic book feel, like something you would’ve begged your parents for decades ago and never opened.

And then we get to the chaos. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 Sketch 4-pack. Black and white, stylised as they jumped right off an animator’s desk. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo all packed together with a ridiculous amount of accessories. Weapons, alternate heads, gadgets, and even Ice Cream Kitty make the cut. It’s overkill in the best way possible, and it’s clearly aimed at fans who want everything in one hit.

All of these are limited. No restocks, no second chances. Once they’re gone, you’re hunting resale prices and regretting your life choices.

SDCC hasn’t even started yet, and it already feels like it’s about to drain wallets. We’ll be keeping a close eye on everything else that drops, because if this is how it starts, it’s only going to get worse from here.
