Long Beach has been the home of Midsummer Scream since 2016, and we have to say, 2026 is going to be a KILLER year. The folks at Paramount Scares and the cast of Wes Craven's "SCREAM" are taking over the annual event to celebrate the film's 30th Anniversary. Get those GhostFace masks ready people, this is gonna be a SCREAM!
From August 7 through August 9. the Long Beach convention center is gonna be a horror fans dream. This is going to be a Midsummer Scream for the books.
The Ultimate Woodsboro Reunion
Several of the original cast members will be on hand throughout the weekend for autographs, professional photo ops and selfies, including:
- Matthew Lillard (Stu Macher)
- Skeet Ulrich (Billy Loomis)
- David Arquette (Dewey Riley)
- Jamie Kennedy (Randy Meeks)
- Lee Waddell (Ghostface stunt performer)
- Joseph Whipp (Sheriff Burke)
One of the weekend's biggest attractions belongs to the man whose face you'll never see.
Roger L. Jackson, the unmistakable voice of Ghostface, will host an extremely limited private meet and greet where fans can also purchase custom voicemail greetings and personalized audio recordings. It's a rare opportunity to hear Ghostface call your phone... hopefully under better circumstances than Casey Becker.
Bradley Video Comes to Life
Paramount Scares is recreating Bradley Video, the fictional video store from the original 1996 film, directly on the convention floor.
Presented alongside FANGORIA, the experience invites fans to browse horror recommendations just as they would have in the video store era while posing for Ghostface photo opportunities, picking up exclusive merchandise and scoring special giveaways. If someone behind the counter asks, "Do you like scary movies?" you already know the correct answer.
Panels Every Scream Fan Should See
The anniversary celebration continues with two standout panels.
On Saturday, August 8, Matthew Lillard hosts the official 30th Anniversary Scream Panel, promising surprise guests, behind the scenes stories and audience interaction celebrating one of horror's most influential franchises.
Then on Sunday, August 9, horror fans can experience The Sound of Scream, an in depth discussion exploring the music and sound design that helped define the series.
Joining the panel are composer Marco Beltrami, Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas, Ghostface voice actor Roger L. Jackson, producer Marianne Maddalena and music supervisor Ed Gerrard as they discuss the unforgettable score, iconic phone calls and audio design that made Scream so effective.
An Exclusive FANGORIA Collectible
Collectors will also want to stop by the FANGORIA booth for an exclusive Midsummer Scream edition of the magazine featuring an all new Ghostface cover created exclusively for the event.
The limited edition issue includes retrospective features celebrating Scream, archival content and coverage of this year's Midsummer Scream guests.
Tickets Are Almost Gone
If you're planning to attend, don't wait much longer. Weekend badges and Gold Bat VIP passes have already sold out, leaving only a limited number of single day tickets available as the event approaches.
