Stormind Games has been dropping some massive updates on Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy. A new story trailer dropped recently, shedding light on where this next game is taking us. The trailer showcases the eerie Cristo Morente convent and leans heavily into the classic Italian horror atmosphere of the Giallo genre, giving the game a much darker and more cinematic feel. They also dropped some very exciting news: legendary composer Akira Yamaoka, whom every old-school gamer should know as the composer for the Silent Hill games, is working on the soundtrack for Red Nun's Legacy.
But the surprises don't stop there. Lady Dimitrescu herself, Maggie Robertson, is lending her talents to the game alongside another legend in the gaming industry, Cissy Jones, who has played characters in some of the greatest games ever made, like Life Is Strange, The Walking Dead, Starfield, and the BAFTA-winning Firewatch. Maggie Robertson will voice the terrifying Red Nun herself, while Cissy Jones takes on the role of Susan.
According to Stormind Games' press release, they sent over, Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy is designed as both the grand finale to the original Remothered story and a standalone experience for newcomers. Players will explore the shadowy halls of the Cristo Morente convent while surviving relentless Stalkers, uncovering disturbing secrets, solving puzzles, and using hypnosis abilities to reveal forgotten memories and hidden pathways.
The developers also revealed that the game will feature expanded survival horror gameplay mechanics, cinematic storytelling, and a stronger focus on psychological horror, all while paying tribute to classic third-person horror games of the past.
