Official Misfits, Samhain & Verotik Retro Masks Announced by Goblinhaus[IMAGES]

The retro Halloween company has unveiled an officially licensed Misfits, Samhain, and Verotik Mask Set, celebrating three different chapters of Glenn Danzig's career with four vintage style vacuform masks inspired by some of his most memorable artwork and creations. The masks are currently available as a pre order through Goblinhaus.

Unlike many modern collectibles that aim for screen accuracy or lifelike detail, these embrace the unmistakable look of the classic Ben Cooper and Collegeville masks that lined department store shelves throughout the 1970s and 1980s. The four mask designs include:

• Die Die My Darling from the Misfits.

• Succubus from Samhain.

• Pumkyl from Verotik.

• Dalkiel Monster Mask from Verotik.

While the legendary horror punk band remains Danzig's most recognizable project, Goblinhaus also shines a spotlight on Samhain, the darker, more atmospheric band that bridged the gap between the Misfits and Danzig's solo career. Official Samhain merchandise has always been relatively scarce, making the inclusion of the iconic Succubus artwork a welcome surprise for longtime fans. She was featured on the cover of "Unholy Passion" as well as the Samhain Boxed set that was released in the early 2000s. 

The collection also ventures into Verotik, Danzig's horror comic publishing company, which launched in 1994 and became known for its un-apologetically graphic blend of horror, dark fantasy, and supernatural storytelling. Rather than relying on familiar band logos, Goblinhaus selected two original Verotik monsters, Pumkyl and Dalkiel, giving comic fans something they rarely see represented in officially licensed merchandise.
