NECA Summons The Demon Malthus For A New Ultimate Conjuring Universe Figure

Written By Sam Santiago

NECA is once again inviting collectors to make questionable life choices with the announcement of the Ultimate Malthus the Demon 7' scale figure. Pulled straight from The Conjuring Universe, Malthus is the demonic force lurking behind the Annabelle films, using the infamous doll as a supernatural middleman while searching for a human host. Naturally, this seemed like the perfect character to immortalize in plastic...right?

Standing just over seven inches tall, Malthus joins NECA’s Ultimate line with full articulation and a sculpt that leans hard into unsettling detail. The figure includes three interchangeable head sculpts with varying expressions, several swap-out hands, and two different sets of hoofed feet to customize his stance. Whether you prefer your demon mid snarl or silently judging your life choices, NECA has you covered.

According to the official press description,

“Summon pure terror into your collection with Malthus the Demon, a new Ultimate action figure by NECA. From The Conjuring Universe, this powerful demonic entity is the main antagonist of the Annabelle films, using the doll as a conduit to torment people and find a human host.”

If that sounds like something your shelf is missing, you are definitely the target audience.

The figure also features what NECA does best. Intricate sculpting, eerie paint applications, and collector-friendly window box packaging with an opening front flap. It is designed to look great in or out of the box, depending on whether you are a careful curator or someone who likes their demons fully unleashed.

Malthus carries an MSRP of $49.99 and is currently slated for release in the second quarter of 2026. Pre-orders are now live through retailers including Big Bad Toy Store, Entertainment Earth, and The Chosen Prime.

Just remember, once you bring Malthus home, do not blame NECA if your lights flicker, your shelves shake, or your Annabelle figures start looking a little too pleased.
