Ice Nine Kills Unleash "Play Dead" in Brutal Dead by Daylight Collaboration

Written By: Luis Vox

Our friends in the gore-obsessed metal band, Ice Nine Kills, have announced a new song, "Play Dead," and its accompanying music video in collaboration with the asymmetrical horror game, Dead by Daylight.

In the video, we see an animated Spencer running for his life before being caught and brutalized by The Silence in perfect Dead by Daylight fashion, ultimately ending up impaled on a hook in the middle of a desolate field.

The song itself stays true to the band's signature blend of crushing riffs and catchy choruses. But after the song ends, the real fun begins as we see Dunbar, Tony Hawk, and SpookyLoopz playing the game together. Hilarious banter between the three continues until none other than Devon Sawa from Final Destination and Krsy Fox appear, arguing over Ice Nine Kills' inclusion in the game and joking that Insane Clown Posse rejected them for Mrs. Pac Man.
