Forty years ago, director James Cameron took "Alien", already considered one of the greatest science fiction horror films ever made, and transformed it into an all-out war against the perfect organism. The result was "Aliens", a film packed with pulse rifles, Colonial Marines, exploding Xenomorphs, and some of the most quotable lines in genre history.
It gave us Sigourney Weaver barking, "Get away from her, you bitch!" It taught us that the Xenomorphs "mostly come out at night... mostly." Most importantly, it turned Ellen Ripley into one of cinema's greatest action heroes.
Now, as Aliens celebrates its 40th anniversary, Hot Toys is sending collectors back to LV-426 with an impressive lineup of new 1/6 scale collectibles. The only thing missing? Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez, Drake, Frost, and the rest of the Colonial Marines. Because let's be honest, what is Aliens without the Marines? We have no info on whether those characters will be getting the same treatment but here's hoping.

Forty years later, Aliens remains one of the greatest sequels ever made. These new Hot Toys releases feel like a fitting tribute to Cameron's sci-fi masterpiece and the legacy of Ripley and the Xenomorphs. Still, we're keeping our fingers crossed that Hot Toys eventually gives us the rest of the Colonial Marines. Hicks, Hudson, Vasquez, Drake, Frost, Apone, and even Bishop deserve the same treatment.
After all, every bug hunt is better with a full squad.
