Everyone has been eager, willing, and, in all honesty, suffering in wait for "HELLRAISER: REVIVAL" to unleash such sights on us, and it looks like today we get a bit more of a reveal for what Hell has to offer with a brand new trailer for the game entitled "Genesis Configuration."
Now, if you're like us (sick, twisted, bothered), you'd already know that the Lament Configuration is the box we see MOSTLY in the Hellraiser franchise of films, but if you dived into the comic books by Dynamite Entertainment that came out a few years back and were co-authored by the man himself, Clive Barker, you'd know that the Lament Configuration is just one portal to Hell and the Cenobites that await. What does Genesis hold in store?

Yes, we know it kinda sucks that you click on the video and have to go to youtube to see it but...it's HELLRAISER we're talking about, people! Of course this game is gonna get bloody and in all types of ways.
Look on the bright side, ya have Doug Bradley reprising his role as "The Hell Priest" aka "PINHEAD", and Clive Barker overseeing this project as well? The only other thing we could ask for is a cameo by Ashley Laurence (Kristy Cotton) from the original Hellraiser and Hellraiser 2, but we're not greedy. This game looks amazing and we don't mind that it's taking its sweet time to give us so much pleasure. Hellraiser is known to tease before it strikes, so we're betting on black for this one. Things are gonna get grim.

From the very beginning of the Hellraiser saga, fans have feared the Lament Configuration, the legendary puzzle box capable of summoning Hell’s demonic beings of torment: Pinhead and the Cenobites. Now, in a newly released gameplay trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, fans are getting a look at an entirely new box that appears to hold terrifying power all its own: the Genesis Configuration!
Coming later this year to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival introduces the Genesis Configuration as both a deadly weapon and a vital puzzle-solving tool throughout the game.
Outside of combat, players will use the Genesis Configuration to manipulate portions of the Labyrinth itself, transforming environments and opening new pathways forward. The mysterious box also plays a key role in solving puzzles within the mortal world.
Its true horrors, however, emerge during combat.
Players can execute enemies in gruesome fashion to harvest their Suffering, which can then be used to unleash devastating abilities tied to the Genesis Configuration.
Telekinesis allows players to hurl saw blades, rail spikes, and other brutal projectiles at enemies, tearing them apart limb by limb. Pyrokinesis grants the ability to absorb blazing fire and unleash it against both enemies and the surrounding environment. And, of course, players can summon the iconic Hell Chains, ripping opponents apart with the merciless cruelty Hellraiser fans would expect.
These infernal powers will be essential for surviving the nightmare that awaits in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. The game sends players deep into the underworld in a desperate attempt to rescue a lost loved one from the depraved grasp of the Cenobites. Along the way, players will confront grotesque monsters, cultists, and hellish creatures while wielding both earthly weapons and the dark abilities of the Genesis Configuration.
Fans looking to dive even deeper into the experience can pre-order one of two special Collector’s Editions of the game, both featuring exclusive licensed collectibles.
