Halloween may still be a few months away, but Hasbro is already getting collectors into the spooky spirit with the reveal of its latest Star Wars: The Black Series Halloween Edition figures. This year's lineup puts a fun monster movie spin on three familiar faces from the galaxy far, far away, and they're some of the most creative entries in the annual Halloween run yet.
Now, we know what some of you might be thinking. "Why is Star Wars on a horror site?" While the franchise has never been outright horror or even sci-fi horror, it has always embraced the darker side of pop culture. The tragedy of Anakin Skywalker and his transformation into Darth Vader is built on fear, manipulation, loss, betrayal, murder, and unimaginable suffering. Throw in witches, zombies, monstrous creatures, haunted worlds, and one of cinema's most iconic villains, and there's no denying that Star Wars has earned its place alongside genre entertainment, especially when Halloween rolls around.

Leading this year's collection is a Mon Calamari (Halloween Edition) inspired by The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Sporting a green aquatic color scheme, the figure includes a spear and a Sakavian companion dressed in a matching vintage diving suit. Like the rest of the wave, it comes packaged in the Halloween themed Black Series window box collectors have come to expect.

Joining it is the Togruta (Halloween Edition), which pays homage to The Bride of Frankenstein. Complete with a staff and an adorable Porg companion sporting matching Halloween inspired deco, it's easily one of the more unique designs in the assortment.

Rounding out the wave is the Tusken Raider (Halloween Edition), inspired by The Invisible Man. Featuring translucent "invisible" deco, premium articulation, a removable hat, a tablet accessory, and a black and white BD series droid companion, this may be the standout figure of the entire collection.
Each figure will retail for $27.99 and is expected to arrive at Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers in September 2026.
Hasbro's Halloween themed Black Series releases have quietly become one of the most enjoyable traditions for Star Wars collectors. Instead of simply repainting existing figures, the design team continues to blend classic horror with the Star Wars universe in ways that feel both nostalgic and surprisingly fresh.
Whether you're a lifelong Star Wars fan, a Universal Monsters collector, or someone who enjoys displaying horror themed collectibles every October, this year's wave deserves a spot on your radar. We'll definitely be adding a few of these to our shelves when they arrive this fall.
