SYNOPSIS: When Jeffrey Franken’s fiancée, Patty Mullen, Penthouse Magazine’s 1988 Pet of the Year, is chopped to pieces by the blades of a remote controlled lawnmower, he uses his dubious medical knowledge to try to bring her back to life. Using his homemade explosive Super Crack to entice beautiful New York City prostitutes, Jeffrey resurrects his beloved Elizabeth with their assorted body parts. Unfortunately for him, Elizabeth’s brain is scrambled and she runs amok on 42nd Street, turning tricks and delivering high voltage death to her customers.

Starring James Lorinz of "King of New York", "Street Trash", and "Last Exit to Brooklyn", this cult classic also features Louise Lasser of TV’s Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, and Shirley Stoler of The Honeymoon Killers and The Deer Hunter.

Synapse Films proudly presents the uncut version of Frankenhooker in an all-new 2025 4K Dolby Vision 2160p Ultra High Definition restoration, HDR10 compatible, created from the archival uncut original 35mm vault materials.
