Can you hear it? It's the sound of millions of horror fans celebrating because the day we've all been waiting for has finally arrived.
After years of speculation, endless wish lists, and countless fan requests, Clive Barker's Hellraiser is officially coming to Halloween Horror Nights for the very first time. Yes, we're fully aware that Clive Barker's Hell terrified guests back in the late 1990s, but this is something entirely different. For the first time ever, guests will step into the world of Hellraiser, enter The Labyrinth, and come face to face with Pinhead and the Cenobites.
To say this announcement has been a long time coming would be an understatement. Hellraiser has consistently ranked among the most requested properties fans have wanted to experience at Halloween Horror Nights, and now Universal has answered that call.

With such sights to show you...
FROM THE PRESS RELEASE: Halloween Horror Nights will tempt guests to step beyond the threshold of pain and pleasure with an all new haunted house inspired by the first three Hellraiser films that forever changed the horror genre. The experience begins Friday, August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Since its debut in 1987, Hellraiser has become one of horror's most influential franchises, introducing audiences to the terrifying mythology of the Lament Configuration. Solve the infamous puzzle box and you'll open a gateway to another dimension inhabited by the Cenobites, ritualistic beings led by the unforgettable Pinhead. Blending psychological horror, graphic imagery, and themes of temptation and suffering, Clive Barker's creation remains one of the most unique and enduring franchises in horror history.
Now, guests will experience that nightmare firsthand.

Drawing inspiration from Hellraiser, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, the haunted house will faithfully recreate some of the franchise's most iconic moments. Even better, horror legend Doug Bradley returns as Pinhead, lending his unmistakable voice to both the Hollywood and Orlando attractions.
The experience begins the moment guests enter the legendary Lament Configuration, unknowingly summoning the Cenobites and opening a doorway to a realm of unimaginable torment. From Frank Cotton's attic where his fate was sealed, to the twisted halls of the Channard Institute, fans will relive unforgettable scenes before descending into The Labyrinth itself, where Pinhead and his followers eagerly await fresh souls to torment for eternity.
If the house wasn't enough, Universal is also releasing limited edition Hellraiser merchandise, including an exclusive T shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure compatible with the Infernal Carnival collectible display. The merchandise is available now at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, with online sales launching July 1 at 9:00 a.m. PST through shopUniversal.
Tickets are on sale now, with additional ticket packages and Frequent Fear Passes expected to be announced soon.
For longtime Halloween Horror Nights fans, this announcement feels like something that should have happened years ago. Few horror icons have been requested more often than Pinhead, and few franchises seem better suited for a haunted house. If Universal delivers on the atmosphere, grotesque practical effects, and unsettling world Clive Barker created nearly four decades ago, this could easily become one of the standout houses of Halloween Horror Nights 2026.
The box has finally been opened, and we cannot wait to see what lies inside.
