News has come our way that breakout star of "Alien: Earth", Sydney Chandler, has officially signed on for season 2 of "Creature Commandos," according to a report from our friends at TheInSneider.
Word is that Chandler will be playing "Nosferata", a centuries-old vampire operative built for war. Enhanced strength, hypnotic control, and zero hesitation when it comes to violence make her less of a team player and more of a walking threat. Check her out in the image below.
What's really rad about "Creature Commandos" is that it is based on a very obscure DC comic of the same name. It was popular in the 80s for giving readers a team of monsters who went on missions for the government. It only lasted for one year (1980 - 1981), but it was a major influence on DC head honcho James Gunn.
Season 1 of "Creature Commandos" was the first series to be canon in Gunn's new DCU, which is trying to rival Marvel's MCU. We're sure we'll here more updates for SDCC.
