This is the first major cast addition to Noah Hawley's smash hit "ALIEN: EARTH" season 2, and it's a big one as Deadline has confirmed that Peter Dinklage will be involved in the series.
There is no major update as to who Dinklage will be playing in the ongoing FX series as of now, but we're sure information will get dropped as the weeks move on.
Pulling DNA straight from "Alien", the upcoming series leans hard into that cold, suffocating sci-fi dread. Front and center is Sydney Chandler as Wendy, a humanoid robot caught somewhere between machine precision and something a lot more human…or a lot more dangerous.
Backing her up is a stacked cast that reads like a who’s who of controlled chaos. Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille, and Moe Bar-El all step into the nightmare, which means whatever’s coming isn’t going to stay contained for long.
Filming is set to start sometime next month at Pinewood Studios in the UK. Coincidentally or not, many ALIENS films have been shot at Pinewood, so this is a bit of a right of passage, if you will. Filming was originally done in Thailand for the first season of ALIEN: EARTH.
