THE OFFICE’S John Krasinski Dives In To Direct A Supernatural Thriller

He’s best known as lovable prankster Jim on The Office but John Krasinski is taking on a darker roll now that the show is over. He’s diving head first into Horror and directing a new supernatural thriller. Want the goods? That’s what she said.

Krasinski has signed on to rewrite, direct, and star in Paramount/Platinum Dunes A Quiet Place, according to Variety. He will be appearing opposite his wife Emily Blunt.

Krasinski and Blunt came aboard the project well after it had been picked up. Originally, it was set to be written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods. The film is being produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller.

Plot details are unknown at this time but the film will be going into production this fall, so a basic idea of what it’s about will be released by then.
