All Is Revealed… Details From THE EXPEDITION (2014)

A mysterious counter has been ticking down for the past seven days. The moment has finally come… At Midnight in the UK, just a minute ago, producer Ben Loyd Holmes and director Adam Sprinks announced and revealed their bold new feature, THE EXPEDITION. The secret is out now and the first wave of buildup is winding down, dinosaurs are back from extinction! The film is due out later this year. Stay tuned as more details surface. From The Release:

Deep in the Amazon jungle a research team led by a respected Professor embark on an Expedition to protect vulnerable and endangered species… but when their superstitious guides abandon them, the team, desperate to complete their study, begin to realize there is more to the jungle than they could have ever imagined and that they are in the hunting ground of a true apex predator… And now they will be the ones on the endangered list…

“The Expedition” is directed by Adam Spinks, for whom making the movie was the fulfillment of a childhood dream. “I grew up with this stuff in my head…”…“The Amazon is so vast…How much out there is there left for mankind to discover? That idea was just so exciting and inspiring to us”

“The Expedition” stars Ben Loyd Holmes (Skyfall, Da Vinci’s Demons) alongside Sarah Mac (Secret Diary Of A Call Girl), Neil Newbon (Hollyoaks), Daniel Caren (The Hike, Pulling, Essex Boys: Retribution), Ernesto Cantu (World War Z), Ross O’Hennessy (Da Vinci’s Demons), Simon Burbage (Pulp: The Movie, Hollyoaks), Dolores Reynals (There Be Dragons, A Very European Break-Up) and Emma Lillie-Lees.

“The monster movie genre has never been bigger, The Expedition is big, it’s bold… a real thrill ride of a movie” says Sarah Mac, who stars as plucky reporter Michelle in the film.

“It’s been a dream of mine to make a movie in this genre” says Producer, Ben Loyd Holmes “bringing an extinct animal back to life has been an amazing and inspiring process, I just know it’s going to blow people’s minds.”

Hollywood Vision Films has a history of producing successful feature films including The Hike (2011) and Art Of Darkness (2013), the latter a winner at the London Horror Film Festival in 2012, taking home the awards for Best Feature Film, Best Producer and Best Music. Both films are available worldwide.
