Some would say Quentin Tarantino’s film “Death Proof” was a horror film. Not the director though. He said the film had “horror elements” but not a true horror film. Now we have word that he might actually go down the road of horror for his next film. Could he tackle the genre and turn it on its head? Read on for what he had to say on the matter.
In an interview about his career with The Independent, Tarantino hinted that we could possibly see one from him.
“I’ve done what I wanted to do by the time I was this age. Today, I’m further down the road. There are no genres I absolutely want to do any more, like ticking boxes: ‘This, done’. I don’t think about Kill Bill 3 that much, as… we already visited them,” he said. “If there was something I would like to work on again, it would be Honshu’s movies, maybe. Or a horror movie, perhaps.”
This is not a confirmation that he will do one but we have our fingers and toes crossed in hopes that he will go full steam ahead into horror and scare the crap out of us.
