If you were a fan of GOOSEBUMPS back in the 90s, check out this new reboot series by R.L. STINE.
Back in the 90s, R.L. Stine became famous for children and teenage horror series, GOOSEBUMPS and FEAR STREET. Each book told a creepy story about monsters, ghosts, ghouls, and everything else that went bump in the night.
Stine has penned more than 300 books, and now he’s brought back Shadyside High School in a reboot book series, FEAR STREET–which is geared towards an older audience.
The first book, slated to be released in October of 2014, is going to be called “PARTY GAMES” which follows a birthday weekend on Fear Island for Brandon Fear, which of course goes horribly wrong.
So far Stine has been asked to write three FEAR STREET books. However, FEAR STREET was generated from popular demand from social media such as Twitter and Facebook. The chances of the demand of more FEAR STREET, if well received, is extraordinarily high.
So if you were a fan of GOOSEBUMPS and the original FEAR STREET, don’t fret–next year you’ll be asking for PARTY GAMES for your Christmas gift.
We will keep you posted on any updates on FEAR STREET or any other R.L. Stine projects.
