Kevin Smith’s New HORROR Film TUSK Gets Distribution

That bearded man of mystery, Kevin Smith is at it again with his new film TUSK. It promises some outlandish horror that only you crazy kids would love and now word has dropped distribution for the film has been found. Check it out.

Smith has missed the deadline for Sundance and is still in pre-production on the film.  The Wrap reports A24 and Demarest Films are releasing the film in Fall 2014.  The former handled the distribution for this year’s Spring Breakers and The Bling Ring.

Smith wrapped shooting on Tusk recently.  He plans to show off a trailer at the Sundance Film Festival next month.

Tusk finds Justin Long playing a podcaster who interviews an old, reclusive seafarer (Michael Parks) who has sinister plans for his interviewer.  Genesis Rodriguez and Haley Joel Osment are set to star.

The idea for the film was hatched on Smith’s Smodcast.
