The MPAA has weighed in on Eli Roth’s cannibal flick The Green Inferno. Check it out below.

the_green_inferno_4_20130801_1420895013According to the MPAA, Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno is R “for aberrant violence and torture, grisly disturbing images, brief graphic nudity, sexual content, language and some drug use.”

Sounds like our type of flick! We wonder, did Roth find a way to get an easy R rating from the MPAA? Or was there massive cuts done? We’ll find out soon we’re sure.

Another rumor we hear is that this film is basically just a remake of Cannibal Holocaust. (Which happens to be Roth’s favorite film) If this is indeed true..expect some MAJOR gore people.

Directed by Roth, the film follows a group of student activists who from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.
