Comic-Con 2013: THE CROW Remake Heads For SDCC

Surprise surprise, it looks like Relativity Media’s THE CROW remake will be at SDCC this year and we have some news for you about it below. Dig it!

the crowAccording to Variety, director F. Javier Gutierrez is going to take the stage with James O’Barr, creator of The Crow.


O’Barr has boarded the redo – which has seen directors and actors come and go – as a consultant.  Shooting will begin in 2014 with a script by Cliff Dorfman.  Head inside for a statement from O’Barr.


“It is important for Crow fans to understand that Relativity, Javier, Luke and the entire team are working on a new adaptation of the book itself,” said O’Barr in a statement printed by Variety. “I believe that this movie will stand alongside Brandon and his film as a valid work of art, and I look forward to collaborating on the project.”

Luke Evans was cast to play the eponymous character in May
