Zombie Fans Rejoice!: AMC CEO Says NO END IN SIGHT For THE WALKING DEAD

When Robert Kirkman first envisioned The Walking Dead, there was no set end date for the series. It’s reported that Kirkman has over 200 issues already written as well. How does this play for the AMC adaptation? The CEO of AMC Network thinks that the show will be around for a very, very long time. Read on below for his official word and let the rejoicing begin!

We like where this is going but SHOULD the show continue forever like some ABC soap opera? You decide.

“We hope that zombies live forever and we’ve just begun to find out what the post-apocalyptic world is like,” said AMC Networks CEO Josh Sapan (via The Hollywood Reporter), “so that we’ll be sitting here at the Barclays conference in 2022 discussing the fact that Walking Dead is not over.”

The Walking Dead will return October with 16 new episodes.
