Video Games: The new BLOOD DRAGON of FARCRY 3 gets the grindhouse treatment

Equal parts Grindhouse and eighties Saturday morning cartoons, this nostalgic trailer shouldn’t be missed, regardless of being a fan or not.

“The year is 2007. It is the future.”

FARCRY 3 was already was a far out game, utterly brutal and insane. I spent most of the time in a tree, half of a mile away and systematically decapitating hostiles with precision sniper fire, then a machete to the necks close-range, for the stragglers. This trailer though takes the cake. It appears that they went complete circle from a title that forced you to brutally mutilate hundreds of pirates on a secluded island, to battling futuristic cyborgs for the fate of the past.

Starring Michael Biehn of ALIENS and TERMINATOR, this must have piece of content becomes obtainable May 1st, 2013 for the Xbox Live Arcade, PC, and the PlayStation 3. This does not require a copy of FARCRY 3 and is a standalone game available for digital download.
