Greetings UK types

Here’s a round up of all things horror that are happening round these parts.

First off, remember the BAFTA winning hostage horror SUMMER SCARS ? It was directed by Julian Richards and starred Kevin Howarth (the same team behind The Last Horror Movie) back in 2007 and the good news is it’s set for a DVD re-release in the UK on May 6th.  The trailer can be found here.lets-scare-jessica-to-death-silver-ferox-design-online-2

The Old Red Lion Theatre in London is going to be home to the latest production by Theatre Of The Damned “THE GHOST HUNTER” and it runs from April 30 – May 25th. “Dick runs a ghost tour, and he’s got a great story to tell. It’s the one they all go home talking about. The headliner. It’s about a Ragged School in old York. About something terrible buried beneath the cobbles” Booking and info here.

The wonderful Cigarette Burns are screening 70s genre classic LET’S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH in all its terrifying 35mm glory at the ICA on April 19th (FB page here)

And lastly, our friends at Grimm Up North are having a special premiere screening of Rob Zombies THE LORDS OF SALEM at the Dancehouse Theatre in Manchester on Saturday 20th of April.
