Lionsgate gives third release date for I, FRANKENSTEIN

Things have been shifted around once more and Lionsgate has a new release date for I, Frankenstein. Read on for the info.

The film was supposed to bow this past February but was shifted to September 2013. Now it is getting a release of January 24, 2014.

The main reason for the delay with the film is the 3D conversion process. But it could actually be a number of things.

Plot Crunch:

Set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power, Victor Frankenstein’s creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality.

Directed by Stuart Beattie based on the graphic novel “I, Frankenstein” by Kevin Grievous, the film also stars Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young as Victor Frankenstein
