Kicking off this Saturday at the Long Beach Convention Center, the fourth annual Long Beach Comic & Horror Con (LBCHC) is proud to announce that Hollywood icon and famed artist Lance Henriksen will join the show. Henriksen will host a panel on Sunday at 11 am about his biography, “Not Bad for a Human” and his upcoming Dark Horse series, “To Hell You Ride.” Hendriksen will be joined by co-writer Joseph Maddrey.
“There is no story telling that can make a greater impression,than the intimacy of a comic,i still remember images – from ‘Tales From the Crypt,” 60 years later,” mused Henriksen. “I can’t wait to be at Long Beach to field the fans questions about this adventure….”
Launching in December 2012, Henriksen (Millennium, Aliens, Near Dark) and Maddrey (Nightmares in Red, White and Blue: The Evolution of the American Horror Film) are co-writing “To Hell You Ride,” a new horror series about a small town, a deadly curse and four warriors set on revenge. “To Hell You Ride” features art by Tom Mandrake.
“Not Bad for a Human” chronicle the journey of Henriksen’s life, celebrating the actor’s screen persona, film by film, recounts the chaotic upbringing and early life experiences that shaped him – revealing the man behind the image. Co-written with Maddrey, “Not Bad for a Human” was published in May 2011 by Bloody Pulp Books and features original artwork by some of comic’s greatest artists, including Eric Powell, Tim Bradstreet, Mike Mignola, Ashley Wood, Bill Sienkiewicz, and Tom Mandrake.

Offering a weekend packed with special guests and exhibitors and engaging panels, Long Beach Comic & Horror Con will be open on Saturday, November 3 from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and from10:00am to 5:00pm on Sunday, November 4.
