CARRIE Goes Viral With Poetry, Newspaper Clippings

CARRIE is a classic story that we all know and love.  So is it really a surprise that the remake is generating interest and buzz?  Read on for the details.

The Facebook page for the CARRIE remake s experiencing some fresh activity.  Two clippings have posted to the page’s wall as part of a viral campaign.  This type of promotion began with the release of Carrie White’s birth certificate.

Now, we’re getting a piece of poetry written by Carrie in her creative writing class and a news clipping of a strange phenomena that occurred when Carrie was only five years old.

The remake, based on the novel by Stephen King and directed by Kimberly Peirce, follows Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
