Twisted Central uses Horror items to raise money for two charities. Read on for more.

Normally, horror films show the darker side of humanity. However, Twisted Central decides to use horror items to raise awareness and good for two very good charities.

Twisted Central reached out to indie filmmaker Michael Stevens and the two have teamed up to put on a charity auction/event on December 7th and 8th at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas, Tx. Michael will be premiering his film Brutal both nights with Q&A sessions after the screenings with the films stars and composer.

The event will also feature actors of other horror films such as Camille Keaton (I Spit on Your Grave), Bill Obherst Jr (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies) and more. There will be a silent auction with select horror items available for bidding. 100% of the proceeds go to Operation Kindness, which is one of the Largest and Oldest No-Kill Shelters in Northern Texas, as well as For Those in Need, which is an organization that helps victims of violent crimes.

Tickets to the event are $15 and are available through Twisted Central’s website:  http://www.twistedcentral.com/p/events_3.html They also have a Facebook event page which has all the relevant details and links to the two charities: http://www.facebook.com/events/510672102294586/

If you live in or near the Dallas area, this would be a great event to check out. Not only is it awesome for horror fans, but it is also for TWO amazing causes.
