Earlier in the week we gave you fiends a short list of possible directors for Dawn of The Planet of The Apes. Now we have confirmation as to who will be the man behind the monkeys. Read on to find out.
ComingSoon.net is reporting today that Matt Reeves(Cloverfield) has scored the directors chair and will be tackling the sequel that is due in theaters May 23, 2014.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes original director, Rupert Wyatt, exited the follow-up a couple of weeks back. Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver return on scripting duties and have already turned in a draft that has reportedly been well received.
Here’s hoping that Dawn is just as good if not better than Rise.
