First ever HORROR festival to be held at Leicester Square Theater in the UK

This is some good news for you fiends across the pond. The Leicester Square Theater has history running through its veins and soon it will have horror! Read on for the details.

This is the official word from a UK site called The Stage.

The Horror fest which will include a stage adaptation of the novel Dracula and a selection of plays written by Colin Hoult.

The 13th Hour Horror Festival will run from October 10 to November 4 and opens with Dracula, which is written by Adam Morley and produced by Sci-fan Corporation and AlleyKat. The play will run from October 10 to 28.

A selection of plays written and performed by Hoult, along with an ensemble cast, called the Real Horror Show will run on October 24 and 25.

Team of writers Cigarette Burns, which includes Kim Newman, Stephen Volk, Anne Billson, Paul McAuley and Maura McHugh, has created an anthology play, which will run from October 29 to November 3. It is called The Hallowe’en Sessions and is directed by Sean Hogan.

The festival will also feature zombie-themed comedy from Tiernan Douieb on October 30, called Zomedy, and a sketch show from comedy group The Beta Males called The Beta Males’ Midnight Movie Theater on October 31.
