Seth Grahame-Smith adapts The Three Wise Men into UNHOLY NIGHT

Let the protesting commence! A sure way to piss off the Christians is to parody the good book. Well Seth Grahame-Smith is doing just that with the story of The Three Wise Men. Read on for the details and watch the book trailer below.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Unholy Night is the latest terror tale by Grahame-Smith, the cross-genre-loving author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

His latest is a reimagining of the Three Wise Kings, aka the Magi, as thieves who are reluctantly forced to protect Mary and baby Jesus, with an epic action-adventure ensuing.

The book hits shelves April 10, but it is already in development at Warners. Grahame-Smith, who wrote the script for this summer’s big-screen version of Abraham Lincoln, not to mention the Tim Burton-directed Dark Shadows movie, is working on the script for Unholy Night.
