HBO’s True Blood is not set to start it’s fifth season for a few months now but word is show runner Alan Ball is stepping down. Read on for the details.
Forbes is saying that Ball is basically exhausted with the show.
“Explanations include exhaustion, and maybe that the show seemed like it had tired blood last season. Ball will still be with the show, I’m told, but a new regime will guide the fates of the characters into their new season.”
Could this be what the show needs? Some new blood behind the show runner seat? Look at what happened with Darabont and The Walking Dead. All we can say is that True Blood has been getting very predictable to us so hopefully things will change for the better.
True Blood season five, meanwhile, begins this summer.
